Just signed: "No Climate Tax" pledge

I have signed the Americans for Prosperity “No Climate Tax” pledge.  (www.noclimatetax.org) By doing so, I am promising voters that if elected I will not support any climate change legislation that results in a net revenue gain for the government.  In my mind, this is a no-brainer.  The fact that this pledge even exists shows how warped things in Washington have become.  Is there any issue (real or imagined) that leadership won’t try to manipulate into a job-killing cash grab and extension of government power?  This election is really shaping up as choice between European-style “social democracy” versus individual responsibility and initiative.  We need to decide what we want for the next generation. Will we choose  a government which encourages entrepreneurs or one which encourages entitlements and welfare?  Time will tell.
