Fighting for jobs and our future
KEEPING OUR MANUFACTURING TRADITIONS ALIVE
REED: KEEPING OUR MANUFACTURING TRADITIONS ALIVE
Visits Weber Knapp in Falconer
Falconer, NY--Tom Reed is keeping Western New York's manufacturing tradition alive and thriving. "Manufacturing is part of our history here in New York, and I want to ensure it is in our future. We can be manufacturing leaders again," said Tom Reed. "Businesses right here at home like Weber Knapp in Falconer and Southerntier Custom Fabricators in Elmira are creating real, family sustaining jobs that fuel our economy. Local manufacturers are the reason I wrote and fought to have RAMI--the Revitalize American Manufacturing and Innovations Act--passed into law."
While touring Weber Knapp, President/CEO/Co- owner Rex McCray updated Tom about the company’s progress over the last few years. McCray elaborated on how Tom's efforts have been essential to both his and other businesses' success.
"Tom has been a man of his word fighting for manufacturing and jobs in our area," said Rex McCray,President/CEO/Co- owner. "Tom has made himself accessible to listen to what we care about. He's shown this by writing RAMI, by opposing TPP because it doesn't address intellectual property rights, and by working on real tax reform. I am proud to personally support Tom Reed."
“People like Obama and Clinton are harming our economies and making it difficult for our businesses to advance," stated Amy Hasenberg, Tom Reed for Congress Spokeswoman. "DC John Plumb has already promised to continue these job killing policies, but that's not fair. Tom will put New York first."
