Corning, NY--Reed endorsed by Steuben outgoing and incoming sheriffs for his strong record on protecting our families and fighting for our local law enforcement.  “As the sheriff of Steuben County, I see both the struggles of our communities and the victories. Tom has been here for both, because this is his home. ” stated Steuben County Sheriff Dave Cole. “I am proud to have Tom bring our voices to Washington because he is fighting, not just for law enforcement, but for every family in this district. Tom has my full endorsement.”

"I have known Tom Reed for almost twenty years.  As a Lieutenant  for the Corning Police Department I was fortunate enough to work with Tom as an attorney and the  City of Corning Mayor.  Now as Steuben County Undersheriff  I am honored to work with Tom as a US Congressman,” stated Jim Allard, Undersheriff and candidate for Steuben County Sheriff. “I have always admired Tom's commitment to our community and the Southern Tier.  The opioid crisis is one example.   Tom met with local leaders and emergency services providers to determine the resources needed to combat this epidemic.   Soon I hope to be serving this county as Sheriff.  I look forward to continuing to work with Tom Reed.  I know that he listens and then takes our voice to Washington. Tom truly represents us in Washington. "

“I am humbled to have the endorsement of Sheriff Cole and our future sheriff, Jim Allard,” said Tom Reed.  “Our local law enforcement risk their lives everyday to protect our communities, and I will continue to stand with them to ensure our families are protected.”
