State Senator Jim Alesi Jlins Team Supporint Tom Reed

State Senator Jim Alesi of Perinton has been named a Co-Chair of Tom Reed’s campaign for Congress.

“Tom is rock-solid on the issues of economic growth, public safety, tax cuts and family values, just to
name a few,” Alesi said describing Reed. “It’s an honor for me to be involved with Tom’s effort to win
the 29th Congressional District seat.”

“Jim Alesi is a proven fighter for Western New York,” Reed commented. “Senator Alesi has a long
record of protecting upstate. If elected, I hope to emulate that approach in Washington, ensuring that the
voice of Western New York is heard over the din of political noise on Capitol Hill.”

“I thank Sen. Alesi for all he is doing and for helping lead our campaign,” said Reed, the presumptive
Republican candidate for the vacant 29th Congressional District. Sen. Alesi and Reed supporters Sens.
George Winner and Cathy Young together represent nearly the entire 29th district.

“After nine months of tireless campaigning with the support of upstate champions such as Jim Alesi,
we’re ready to let the people decide who should represent them in Washington,” Reed continued. “We
hope that the Governor will stop the political delays and call a special election immediately.”
