Reed Thanks Angelo Campini for Endorsement

Tom Reed today thanked Angelo Campini for his endorsement. Campini, who was waging a write-in

campaign for the 29th District Congressional seat, has formally ended his campaign and endorsed Reed.

 

“Tom understands the obligation he has to the people of the 29th District,” Campini said in a press release

announcing that he was supporting Reed. “I respect Tom for never making his campaign personal and

staying focused on the issues. Tom’s conservative common sense will serve us well.”

 

Reed appreciates Campini’s support, noting that Campini was running for the right reasons. “Angelo’s

chief concern is the financial health of the government,” Reed said. “He was running on a platform of

ending the borrowing and spending of our children and grandchildren’s money. That is my chief concern

as well. We have to bring some financial sanity to Washington.”
