Fighting for jobs and our future
Reed Wins League of Women Voters Debate
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mayville, NY---Reed wins his second debate against DC John Plumb. "Our positions and records clearly demonstrate that we are fighting for fair treatment of our families and we care about our communities," said Tom Reed. "This place will always be home and I am proud to fight for policies which put New York, not Washington first."
The Dunkirk Observer and Jamestown Post Journal co-hosted last night's debate moderated by the League of Women Voters. Issues regarding foreign policy, veterans, the 2nd Amendment and many others were discussed.
DC John doubled down on his failure to support our gun rights. "Plumb called the NRA's efforts to inform voters about gun rights 'silly'," said Amy Hasenberg Tom Reed for Congress Spokeswoman. "Tom cares about protecting all of our rights and has stood up for our rights time and time again. Tom won this debate because of his clear dedication to our communities' values. He listens to his Southern Tier and Finger Lakes neighbors and takes their voice to Washington."
