Fighting for the Future: Reed Says Jobs Matter Most
Holds press conferences in Elmira, Geneva, Olean & Jamestown to kick-off 2014 Campaign
Corning – Congressman Tom Reed formally announced that he will be a candidate for Congress in the 2014 Congressional election.
With a focus on jobs, Reed pledged to continue fighting for the future and working to ensure the next generation can thrive through economic growth and innovation.
“I’ve been fighting for the future since day one, and I truly believe the best days are ahead,” said Reed. “I want real opportunities for my kids and future generations so that we can continue growing and working towards a stable economy. The number one issue is jobs. The people in Western New York work hard and play by the rules, and that is why I will make sure to remain available and engaged on the issues that matter most.”
“Tom Reed cares about our friends and neighbors here in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes,” said Katherine Pudwill. “He fights for jobs, he fights to rein in our out of control national debt and he fights for the best interests of the families in the 23rddistrict. Unfortunately, Martha Robertson wants to focus on global warming and expanding Obamacare rather than creating new jobs.”
