Release: Robertson Should Remove Unauthorized Ad

ROBERTSON SHOULD REMOVE UNAUTHORIZED AD

CORNING – The Tom Reed for Congress campaign today called on Martha Robertson to remove her unauthorized attack ad from the airwaves in the 23rd district.

Yesterday, Robertson was under fire from AARP State Director, Beth Finkel, for the unauthorized use of the AARP name and logo in Robertson’s recent ad entitled “The Facts Matter.”

"AARP did not authorize the use of its name or logo in currently-running Martha Robertson campaign ads." - Beth Finkel

“Martha Robertson should remove her dishonest ad, and apologize for the careless unauthorized use of the AARP logo,” said Katherine Pudwill. “In an ad claiming to tell the truth she is once again misleading voters, but we can just add this latest mishap to the list of Robertson mistakes that deceive voters and distract from the issues that matter to the families in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes.”
